Made in the West presents....
Made in the West Film Festival is dedicated to showcasing short films featuring cast members, crew and locations from the greater Western Sydney region. All films are judged by a panel of industry professionals, with finalists selected to compete for trophies and awards at our annual red-carpet event. Made in the West provides the opportunity for Western Sydney filmmakers to screen their films to a live audience, be rewarded and recognised for their skills, and walk the red carpet with other local film artists.
Since 2012, Made in the West has screened hundreds of Western Sydney films, launched numerous feature film projects and awarded thousands of dollars in prizes to local filmmakers. Hosted by Still Searchin' Productions, the festival remains the only celebration of its kind, dedicated entirely to screening Western Sydney films on the big screen.
Made in the West Film Festival is held in November at Event Cinemas, Liverpool. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram or read our news blog to keep up with program announcements and event details.
Submissions are open throughout the year. To read the entry criteria and submit your film, please go to: www.madeinthewest.com.au.
